Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you submit a form on this site we collect the information you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number, and details about the property or question you are writing about. We also record the page the form was submitted from and any campaign parameters in the URL, so we know which of our marketing efforts are working.

We use Google Analytics and, where configured, the Meta pixel to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate. These set cookies in your browser. You can block them with browser settings or an ad blocker without affecting your ability to use the site.

How we use it

• To answer your question or prepare the valuation you requested.
• To follow up about land that matches what you told us you want.
• To measure which marketing channels produce real inquiries.

Targeted advertising, and how to opt out

We do not sell your information for money, and we do not share it with lead aggregators. But if we are running ads, the advertising pixel described above shares browsing activity with the ad platform in order to build advertising audiences. Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act that counts as processing for targeted advertising, and you have the right to opt out of it.

Two ways to do that, and we honour both:

• Use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Data link in the footer of any page. The advertising pixel then does not load at all on this browser.
• Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser or extension. We check for that signal and treat it as an opt-out request without you having to click anything.

Opting out does not affect the form submissions you send us, and it does not change how we answer you. We still use first-party analytics to understand how the site is used; that data is not used to target advertising and is not shared with ad platforms.

Your rights under Texas law

Texas residents may ask us to confirm whether we process their personal data, to provide a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising. Write to info@texaslandconsultants.com and we will respond within 45 days. If we decline a request you may appeal by replying to our response, and if the appeal is denied you may complain to the Texas Attorney General.

We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information for money. We do not share it with lead aggregators or third-party marketers. Form submissions go to our agents and to the systems we use to run the brokerage, and nowhere else.

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us operate — email delivery, website hosting, and our customer relationship management system — process your information on our behalf under agreements that restrict them to that purpose. We also disclose information when required by law or by the Texas Real Estate Commission.

Calls and text messages

We only call or text you at a number you gave us. If you ticked the consent box on a form, that includes calls placed with an automatic dialing system and text messages; if you did not, we contact you by email or by a manually dialed call instead. Consent is never a condition of buying or selling anything with us. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to any message to stop them.

We keep a record of whether you gave that consent and the exact wording you were shown, so that both sides have the same account of what was agreed.

Retention

We keep inquiry records for as long as we have a business reason to, and as long as Texas real estate recordkeeping rules require for transaction-related records.

Your choices

Write to us at info@texaslandconsultants.com to request a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We will respond within a reasonable period, subject to any records we are legally required to retain.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
